Lauren Saigh is the Director of Operations and HIPAA Compliance Officer at Express Cannabis Cards. She is originally from Sterling Heights, Michigan where she attended Saginaw Valley State University. In 2009, Lauren made the move to Florida and earned a Bachelors degree in Psychology at Nova Southeastern University. Lauren was a four year collegiate soccer player and has continued to stay actively involved in the coaching of youth in the community.
Lauren pursued a career in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA therapy) working with special needs individuals. ABA therapy uses positive reinforcement to improve behaviors like social skills, reading, academics, and communication as well as learned skills like grooming, hygiene, fine motor dexterity, and job proficiency.
Lauren’s passion for helping those in need has continued to expand with the birth of Express Cannabis Cards. She brings years of knowledge and experience in Cannabis. She assists patients with education on the medicinal benefits of Cannabis and building protocols to promote natural healing. She will help you navigate the process of Florida’s Medical Marijuana Use Registry system and answer any questions you may have on your Cannabis journey. David G. Balter M.D. is the Medical Director at Express Cannabis Cards. Dr. Balter is originally from Los Angeles and received his undergraduate, medical and post-graduate training at U.C.L.A. After retiring from a 30+ year career in dermatology in Santa Barbara and the Santa Ynez Valley, he founded Central Coast Medical Recommendations (Cannabis Cards) in Arroyo Grande, California. He comes to Florida with 5 years of experience in treating patients with medical marijuana, with over 15,000 patient visits. He regularly attends cutting edge cannabis conferences , such as Patients Out of Time and CannaMed. He is excited by the opportunities the State of Florida has given its citizens to improve their well-being by the medicinal use of cannabis.
